01 — Read the water
Everything here is a question of depth.
Not of resort names. What you can actually do on a given day — walk it, snorkel it, dive it, sail past it — is decided by how much water is under you. So that is how we build a week: from the surface down.
2 m Mask and fins
The house reef
The reason to pay for the villa on the far side of the island rather than the near one. Turtles feed on the flat at first light, before the day boats arrive and long before the current turns.
12 m Where the colour breaks
The reef edge
The line you can see from the seaplane, where turquoise turns to ink. Mantas queue at cleaning stations along it from May, and the whole atoll is planned around which side the monsoon is pushing.
40 m Nitrox and a good boat
The channel
Gaps in the atoll rim where the Indian Ocean pours through twice a day and brings everything with it. You sleep on the boat, because the dives that matter start before the guests on land have woken up.

Dates, budget, who is coming, and what you want the week to feel like. Ten minutes on WhatsApp is usually enough for us to start.
